St. Mary's Central High School Vocal Music
Saints Concert Choir
The vocal program presents four concerts each year and performs at various masses and community functions. The choir meets daily within the school schedule. This choir is a non-auditioned ensemble. If singing in the choir, members can also participate in the men's and women's groups.
Singing Saints Set to Tour in 2014
The St. Mary's Central High School Concert Choir will tour in the spring/summer of 2014. Location would be announced March of 2013. The department travels every 2 years. Check back for a detailed itinerary to be posted.
St. Mary's Blues
The "St. Mary's Blues" is an audition only ensemble. This group’s main focus is vocal jazz literature. The SM Blues have sung for the State ACDA Convention, has recorded professionally for an upcoming compilation CD. This award winning group also sang for Honorable Governor John Hoeven's inauguration in 2001 and for the Most Reverend Bishop Zipfel’s installation dinner. The vocal ensemble consists of 12-16 members SATB. The St. Mary’s Blues is available to perform for functions outside the school day.
Maestro Club
Are you interested in attending a St. Mary's Central High School concert? Maestro tickets are the way to go. You and your guests are admitted to the entire season for a donation of $25 or more. Your name will also be printed in our music programs through the year. We encourage the business support of our maestro club members.
