SMCHS Development Office supports the mission of the school by securing financial resources to sustain quality Catholic education for our young students. To accomplish this we raise money for operating funds, tuition, teacher salaries and school and grounds maintenance. Our parents, parents of alumni, alumni and friends are critical to the success of our giving programs.

Giving
Giving involves making gifts to charitable organizations and institutions to accomplish philanthropic goals and in many cases to achieve tax savings or other economic benefits for you and your family. Planned giving can be approached in a number of different ways, with techniques for gifts during your life and/or death. In its most basic form, planned giving is making outright gifts to charity. Planned giving can be both economically beneficial and personally rewarding when your gift is used to further the work of St. Mary’s Central High School.
Throughout the history of St. Mary’s Central High School, the Five Bismarck Parishes, Alumni and Friends have been essential in helping SMCHS provide thousands of students a four year secondary education while promoting a Christian atmosphere. Students develop academically, spiritually and socially in preparation for their post secondary experience. St. Mary’s is grateful for the generosity of those who have chosen to support SMCHS through Planned Giving. Below you can learn about a number of options for Planned Giving through which you can support St. Mary’s Central High School while still meeting your own financial, tax, and estate planning goals.

Giving Options
1) The Circle of Saints – general operation funds
2) Become A Community Supporter
3) SMCHS Endowment for Operations and Tuition- your donation is invested; the principal will remain intact in perpetuity. The interest is used for the sake of school operations and tuition
4) Planned Giving
5) Take Charge of Education designate St. Mary’s on your Target or Red card
6) Target information Flyer
7) Perkins Helping the community Document - Print out Perkins flyer, write in "St. Mary's Central High School", and the next time you go to either Bismarck Perkins, they will donate 10% of your total ticket to St. Mary's. Print extra and pass them out to other SMCHS Supporters
